Community Board 5 on Tuesday, Sept. 14, will hold its monthly meeting and public hearing in person at the Christ the King High School cafeteria, 68-02 Metropolitan Ave., in Middle Village.
The meeting, which is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m., will include a public hearing on the city’s capital and expense budget needs relating to Ridgewood, Maspeth, Middle Village and Glendale. The board limits testimony to three minutes.
Later in the meeting, Con Edison will present plans for the underground wiring project in a section of Middle Village that will begin in September.
Face masks will be provided and required for anyone who is not fully vaccinated. The meeting will also be livestreamed on YouTube and the board’s homepage.
