The annual “Unapologetically Us” Pride Prom, hosted by Assemblywoman Catalina Cruz and Queens Borough President Donovan Richards returned for a night of fun Wednesday, June 8, at the New York Hall of Science.
The “Unapologetically Us” prom in Corona featured a live DJ, food, drinks, performances and a photo booth. Teens and young adults ages 14 to 20 were invited to celebrate the event that took a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
LGBTQIA+ groups were also available at booths to educate and act as a resource for anyone needing support.
