A worker at a Springfield Gardens convenience store just south of the Belt Parkway was allegedly held up by two gunmen last week.

The suspects entered the commercial establishment at 156-05 Rockaway Blvd. near the intersection with South Conduit Avenue on the night of Friday, July 15, according to police from the 105th Precinct in Queens Village.

Once inside they pulled handguns on the store employee and proceeded to go behind the counter where they removed around $2,000 from the cash register, police said. The two men fled on foot eastbound on South Conduit Avenue and there were no injuries reported as a result of the robbery, police said.

The NYPD released a surveillance photo of one of the gunmen who had a dark complexion and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and a dark windbreaker with white stripes down the sleeves, blue jeans and dark sneakers.

Anyone with information in regard to the identity of the suspects is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 888-57-PISTA (74782).
