An F train rider was beaten unconscious during a random attack in a Jamaica Estates subway station last month, according to the NYPD.

Police from the 107th Precinct and Transit District 20 are looking for a suspect who approached the 45-year man as he stood on the platform of the Jamaica-179th Street station on the morning of Saturday, Oct. 21. The stranger walked up behind the victim and sucker punched him in the face causing him to fall to the platform, police said. While the victim was down, the assailant proceeded to punch and kick him repeatedly until the victim lost consciousness. The suspect then ran from the station onto Hillside Avenue near Midland Parkway.
