Bonchon, the globally celebrated Korean restaurant chain, has announce the grand opening of their newest venue inside the Queens Center Mall, located at 90-15 Queens Boulevard, Elmhurst. This grand opening is set for Wednesday, Feb. 21st.
Owned and operated by local Queens franchisees, Kelly Moughal and Muhammad Saleem, this new Bonchon outpost guarantees a chicken experience like no other. The brand, synonymous with its signature hand-battered, double-fried Korean-inspired crispy chicken, has captivated food enthusiasts worldwide.
But the allure of Bonchon doesn’t stop at chicken. Other items on the menu include offerings such as chicken katsu and bulgogi, alongside traditional Korean sides like the ever-popular Kimchi. And for those with a sweet tooth, the introduction of the brand’s new Korean donuts will also be available at this location.
Moughal and Saleem are passionate about sharing the joy embedded in every bite of Bonchon’s famous Korean fried chicken with their new patrons. “Our goal is to create an inviting atmosphere where people of all ages can come together to experience the unique flavors and joy of eating at Bonchon,” they shared. “We’re not just opening a restaurant; we’re extending an invitation to a culinary experience that we hope will become a cherished part of the community for years to come.”
The restaurant is set to open from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sundays. Beyond serving up delectable dishes, this new Bonchon location is bringing approximately 30 new employment opportunities to the local community.
