Permits have been filed for the construction of a 4-story residential building at 616 Hartman Ln. in Far Rockaway.

The proposed development, located between Beach 25th Street and Hartman Lane, would be 40 feet tall and yield 29,418 square feet when built. Demolition permits will not be needed, as the lot is currently vacant.

A total of 28 residences would occupy the building. With an average unit scope of 1,050 square feet, these units will most likely be condos. In addition to the 28 units, other features of the development will include a cellar and 19 enclosed parking spaces.

An estimated completion date for the proposed project has not yet been announced.

This Far Rockaway development site is located within close proximity to the Beach 25th Street subway station, which services the A train.

The owner of the applications is listed as Isaiah Moultrie of Rockaway Development LLC of NY.
