The Bayside Historical Society is set to host Harmonious Horizons: Celebrating Korean and Latin American Songs, a concert performed by Ensemble YEON that aims to blend the musical traditions of Korea and Latin America.

The event, which will be held at Bayside Historical Society, located at 208 Totten Ave., Fort Totten, on Sunday, Nov. 24, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., is part of The Passport Concert Series, a cultural initiative designed to bring international musical traditions to The Castle at Bayside.

Ensemble YEON, known for its commitment to preserving and sharing Korean musical heritage, will present a selection of traditional songs from both Korea and Latin America, as well as modern compositions that highlight the cultural exchange between these two regions. This concert seeks to bridge cultural divides and celebrate the beauty of musical diversity, appealing to audiences familiar with either tradition and those new to both.

Tickets are $10 for Bayside Historical Society members and $15 for non-members and can be purchased through the organization’s website at baysidehistorical.org/events. The concert has received support from New York City Council Member Vickie Paladino, with additional public funding from the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council.
