Permits have been filed for the construction of a new 4-story residential building at 211-13 26th Ave. in Bayside.
The proposed development, situated between Bell Boulevard and Corporal Kennedy Street, will rise to a height of 40 feet, offering 87,901 square feet of residential space spread across 103 units. With an average unit size of 853 square feet, these apartments are expected to be rental units, catering to a range of potential tenants seeking modern housing options in this part of Queens.
In addition to the 103 residential units, the building will feature a cellar and a rear yard that stretches 30 feet in length, providing residents with some outdoor space. The project will also include 133 enclosed parking spaces, addressing potential parking needs in the busy area.
Kathleen Marchiella is listed as the owner of the development under the entity Cord Meyer Development LLC, while Studio V Architecture has been tapped as the architect of record for the project.
At this time, demolition permits have not yet been filed, and no specific timeline for the project’s completion has been provided. Once complete, this development is expected to bring additional housing options to the growing community in Bayside, further enhancing the area’s appeal.
