The NYPD 104th Precinct, serving the neighborhoods of Ridgewood, Glendale, Middle Village, and Maspeth, has announced its Personal Care Item Drive to benefit local food pantries.

The initiative runs from Jan. 16 through Feb. 13 and aims to collect essential hygiene products to assist individuals and families in need.

The precinct is accepting donations of new, unopened personal care items, such as soap, body wash, shampoo, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste and new/unused socks and undergarments. Donations can be dropped off at the 104th Precinct, located at 64-02 Catalpa Ave. in Ridgewood.

All contributions will be distributed to local food pantries, ensuring direct assistance to residents in the area.

The 104th Precinct, a vital part of Queens North, actively engages in community initiatives alongside its core law enforcement duties, addressing public safety while strengthening relationships with local residents.

For more information about the drive, community members can contact Detective Berish or Police Officer Bonilla at 718-386-2431 or via email at dilsia.bonilla@nypd.org.
