Police from the 109th Precinct in Flushing are looking for a crazed karaoke singer who attacked a 24-year-old man during the early morning hours of Monday, Jan. 20, and remains at large.
The assault occurred at 4 a.m. inside the 9Plus KTV & Party Lounge, located at 136-28 39th Ave., when a blonde woman began arguing with the victim over a karaoke microphone. The suspect picked up a metal drink pitcher and smashed him in the head with it, causing serious physical injury to the victim, police said Monday.
The suspect ran out of the karaoke bar in an unknown direction. The victim sustained lacerations to the face and head and was transported by EMS to New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
The suspect was captured on security cameras walking through the karaoke bar and smoking with others in front of the club. She wore a black hooded winter coat over a black blouse and camouflage cargo pants.

Through Feb. 2, the 109th Precinct has reported 40 felony assaults so far in 2025, one fewer than the 40 reported at the same point last year, a decline of 2.4%, according to the most recent CompStat report.
