Police from the 109th Precinct in Flushing are looking for a masked gunman who pulled off an armed robbery at a cell phone store on the night of Monday, May 5.
The suspect entered the Total Wireless shop located in the old Hua Cheng Restaurant at 41-19 Kissena Blvd., across the street from the Queens Public Library branch, just before 7 p.m. He approached the counter, pulled out a firearm, and threatened the 27-year-old woman who was working the night shift, police said Wednesday.
The perpetrator removed approximately $6,000 from the cash register and ran out of the storefront and was last seen running westbound on 41st Avenue toward Main Street. The victim was not injured during the robbery at gunpoint.
The NYPD released a surveillance image of the suspect and described him as having a medium complexion. He wore a camouflage head covering, a black sweatshirt, black pants and white sneakers.
A reward of up to $3,500 is being offered for information that leads to his arrest.

Through May 4, the 109th Precinct has reported 76 robberies so far in 2025, 51 fewer than the 127 reported at the same point last year, a decline of 40.2%, according to the most recent CompStat report.
