The Queens Economic Development Corporation (QEDC) and Queens Tourism Council announced this week that Queens Taste 2025, the borough’s signature culinary and networking celebration, will take place on Tuesday, May 13, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the New York Hall of Science in Flushing Meadows–Corona Park.
Now in its 21st year, Queens Taste has become one of the borough’s most anticipated annual events. It offers a dynamic mix of global flavors, craft beverages and community engagement. Organizers say more than 50 restaurants, beverage purveyors and dessert makers are expected to serve up samples of their best bites to an audience of roughly 500 attendees, many of whom live or do business in Queens.
Participating vendors already confirmed for the event include longtime local institutions like Neir’s Tavern and London Lennie’s, as well as emerging names like Tipsy Scoop, Gnocchi Bella Management, and QNSY Sparkling Cocktails.

In addition to local eateries, Queens Taste will feature clients from QEDC’s Entrepreneur Space—a Long Island City-based commercial kitchen and business incubator that has supported over 600 small food businesses since its launch in 2011. Breweries, winemakers, and mixologists will also be on hand, with non-alcoholic options like bubble tea and tropical juices available for teetotalers.
Beyond the culinary appeal, the event is also one of the borough’s biggest networking gatherings. The event serves as fertile ground for vendors and attendees to meet new partners, pitch business ideas and form connections that extend long after the last bite is served.

Tickets for Queens Taste 2025 are $125 each or two for $200. Proceeds will benefit QEDC’s mission to support local economic development by attracting, creating, and retaining jobs across the borough. As QEDC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, tickets are partially tax-deductible as allowed by law.
Sponsors already committed to the event include Resorts World New York City, the Port Authority of NY & NJ, Silvercup Studios, Plaxall Inc., Lemma Strategies and The Shops at Skyview, among others.
The New York Hall of Science, a cultural anchor in Queens since 1964 and one of the few remaining structures from the 1964 World’s Fair, offers an appropriate backdrop for the event, melding science, history and innovation in one of the city’s most iconic park settings.
