Police are looking for the neighbor of a Whitestone man who was viciously stabbed multiple times during an apparent dispute on Wednesday morning.
According to police sources, officers from the 109th Precinct were initially alerted to reports of a shooting on 166th Street and 17th Road at approximately 7:15 a.m. on June 4. However, upon arrival, cops found a 48-year-old man who had been brutally stabbed.
Police say the victim has been stabbed at least three times in the back, once in the neck, and once in the arm. EMS rushed him to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital and is expected to survive.
The perpetrator, who is described as last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, black sneakers and a baseball cap, is believed to be a fellow resident of the same co-op development as the victim, law enforcement sources said.
He remains at large. The investigation remains ongoing, police said.
