A 53-year-old woman was punched in the back of the head by a man outside a Flushing church last week.
Police said that incident took place after the suspect was asked to leave Saint Michael’s Church at 136-76 41st Ave. on Monday Oct. 28 after he caused a disturbance.
The suspect remained outside the church as the 53-year-old woman exited at around noon. He then approached her and punched her in the back of the head as she went back inside, police said.

The man fled the scene on foot to an unknown location, while EMS rushed the victim to Booth Memorial hospital in stable condition.
Police said the man is described as Asian, 20 to 30 years old and was last seen wearing a yellow and blue jacket and blue pants.
The NYPD has released video of the man punching the woman.
