The Austin, a 7-story, 98-unit luxury condominium at 78-29 Austin St. in Forest Hills, has set a new price record in the neighborhood for 2025 with the sale of one of its penthouse units for $3,881,150.
The record-breaking sale of PH1A is more than double that of the previous 2025 record holder in Forest Hills, Unit 9H of the Pinnacle Condominium at 112-01 Queens Blvd., which sold for $1,550,000 in February 2025. The sale is also the largest in Fost Hills over the last two years, blowing away the previous record of $1.7 million held by Unit 18B of The Windsor at 107-24 71st Rd., which was sold in June 2024.
All condo sales at The Austin are being handled by the real estate agency Modern Spaces. Modern Spaces CEO Eric Benaim took great pride in his firm being able to set a new bar with the sale of PH1A in The Austin. There was great personal meaning for him, due to the deep connection he has with the property where The Austin now stands.
