Three men were shot in Jackson Heights and Rosedale, while another man was found impaled on the fence of his Belle Harbor home during the Halloween weekend.

At about 12:30 a.m. Saturday, a 27-year-old man was getting into his 2015 Range Rover in front of 35-80 81st St. in Jackson Heights when a man in another vehicle wearing a mask pulled up next to him and shot him four times in the torso and once in the arm, officials said.

The victim was in stable condition, police said.

That night, Rosedale resident Peyton Manwaring, 19, was found with a gunshot wound to the torso at 240-15 144th Ave. in Rosedale and was pronounced dead at Jamaica Hospital, police said.

An 18-year-old man was also found at the scene with gunshot wounds to his leg and torso but remained in critical condition, they said.

The investigations were ongoing, according to a police spokesman.

Early Friday morning, a 56-year-old man who police believe was intoxicated was impaled on a fence at his home at 133 Beach 120th St. in Belle Harbor after trying to gain access to his locked sixth floor apartment from the rooftop, according to the police.
