Play and learn together at the Queens Courier Family Fun Fest event this weekend

Kids and families across Queens will visit the New York Hall of Science to engage in activities to promote fun, active play as part of the The Queens Courier Family Fun Fest Day on Saturday, Nov. 19, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event, hosted by The Queens Courier and the New York Hall of Science, will give kids a chance to participate in a wide variety of activities, including hands-on activities, demos, arts and crafts, free face painting, free ices from Rita’s and more!

Concerned about your child’s allergies? There will be free allergy tests available on site at this event by U.S. Allergy. NY Life Insurance with provide free children’s ID card.

“It’s a wonderful, family event where kids get to fun and win great prizes while parents have access to many resources for their entire family under one roof,” said Amy Amato, vice president of events for Schneps Communications.

Families will be able to speak to one-on-one with representatives from local businesses. In addition to all the fun and great information, attendees will have a chance to win many great prizes throughout the day. Enjoy all that the New York Hall of Science has to offer, including 450 exhibits, demonstrations and activities, an outdoor playground and a rocket park mini golf.

The event is sponsored by Long Island Jewish Forest Hills Northwell Health, National Grid, Fidelis Care, PM Pediatrics, Combined Insurance, Metro Plus Health Plan, New York Life, Broadway Stages, New York Hall of Science, Rita’s Italian Ice, Star Network, The Queens Courier and Queens Parent.
