Members of the 114th Precinct in Astoria are searching for the driver of a white minivan that struck a 13-year-old boy in Dutch Kills last week.

The motorist hit the child as he was entering the street in front of 38-72 13th St. on Oct. 10 just after 8 a.m. before leaving the scene of the accident, according to the NYPD.

EMS responded and transported the victim to an area hospital where he received treatment for a fractured ankle, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
