No one was injured after an unknown gunman fired shots at a man’s vehicle in Kew Gardens Hills on Monday night.

According to police, at 7:28 p.m. on Jan. 7, officers from the 107th Precinct responded to a 911 call regarding shots fired into a vehicle in the vicinity of 72nd Avenue and 150th Street.

An investigation found that an unknown man had shot at the 39-year-old male victim’s car, striking the vehicle multiple times. The motive behind the shooting is unknown at this time.

EMS arrived on the scene, but there were no reported injuries as a result of the gunfire.

At this time, police were unable to provide a description of the suspect.

The investigation is ongoing.
