This week, Long Island City’s modern art hub will provide their visitors with some top beers while on their journey through feminist art revisionism and net-culture meditations.

MoMA PS1 will host Springtoberfest, a beer garden with six Queens-based breweries, three food vendors, a live DJ set, outdoor screenings and access to four exhibitions from 8 p.m. to midnight this Friday, May 17.

Brooklyn-based DJ JADALAREIGN, whose styles span from hip-hop to club, will provide the evening’s musical selections.

The breweries will include Big aLICe Brewing, Fifth Hammer, Rockaway Brewing Co., SingleCut Beersmiths, LIC Beer Project and Mikkeller Brewing NYC. Food options will be What’s The ‘Dillaz?, Speedy Oyster Shuckers, Dumpling Galaxy. The Karrabing Film Collective and Elena Lopez Riera will curate the film screenings.

In addition to the outdoor festivities, the museum will also provide after-hours access to the galleries with seven exhibitions including Nancy Spero, Simone Fattal, Gina Beavers, and Zheng Guogu.

Tickets are $15. They are available at mo.ma/natmtickets.
