The NYPD is looking for a man who randomly punched two people aboard a Manhattan-bound 7 train in Long Island City last month.

On Monday, July 27, around 1:15 p.m., an unidentified man punched a 39-year-old man in the face repeatedly without provocation while inside a moving 7 train, according to the NYPD.

While punching the man, the assailant noticed a 26-year-old woman filming the assault, according to the police. He then punched the woman and fled the train at the Queensboro Plaza station, cops said. The man ran down to the street and the two victims were treated at the station by EMS personnel.

Police described the man as being in his 20s. He was last seen wearing an orange shirt, white shorts and red and white sneakers.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information in regard to the identity of the suspects is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 888-57-PISTA (74782).
