Some mischievous boys could find themselves in serious trouble after they allegedly flung a fire extinguisher from an upper level of The Shops at SkyView Center parking garage earlier this month, striking a car, police said.
The incident happened at the 131-07 40th Rd. mall in Flushing at about 5 p.m. on June 2, according to authorities. As seen on surveillance video, the car was entering a parking garage at the shopping complex when the fire extinguisher, thrown from above, smashed the vehicle’s windshield. The driver was not injured.
Police say there are three suspects and describe the first as a white male, 13 to 14 years old, who was wearing a black long-sleeved sweater, black pants and black pants and black sneakers. The second is also a white male, 12 to 13 years old, who was wearing a black and white striped T-shirt with a blue jacket wrapped around his waist, black pants, blue sneakers, and carrying a black cap. The final suspect is a black male, 12 to 13 years of age, wearing a black and white striped T-shirt with a blue jacket wrapped around his waist, black pants, blue sneakers, and carrying a black cap.
