DePhillips Sports, based in Bayside, swept the two-game set, taking the first game 8-3 and the nightcap 10-3. John DeCicco, a Briarwood resident out of St. Francis Prep, got the win in the first game, allowing just four hits.

St. Francis Prep teammate Dan Pudjak got the win in the second game, also allowing four hits. Pudjak, who lives just over the Queens border in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, helped himself at the plate, smashing two RBI-doubles.

James Tsirnikas, a Flushing resident and fellow Terrier, contributed to the offensive onslaught, going 3-for-6 with four RBIs.
