DePhillips Athletic Club: Orangemen top Wolverines, 54-50, in Junior League

Pathmark Stores Orangemen 54, DePhillips Sports Wolverines 50. The Orangemen won a hard-fought contest that went down to the last seconds, led by Thomas Hubany with 21 points. Chris Pagnozzi added seven and Sean Redican had five. The Wolverines had 18 points from Martin Dushaj, 10 from Robbie Hetzron and 11 by Evan Lash.

McDonald’s of Bayside 54, Marino Bros. Huskies 50. The Bruins outlasted the Huskies with a huge 42-point effort by Mike Atzlan and 18 by Chris Velazco. Dan Chaplin and Dennis Bonano had six each. The Huskies got 21 points from David Chung, 19 by Aaron Sebag and 17 from Jason Minellla.

Stabile and Stabile Red Storm 76, Utopia Family Chiropractic Cardinals 58. The Red Storm rolled over the Cardinal, led by Jeremy Kohn with 35 points, Matt DeMatteis with 16 and Ricky Honya 13. The Cardinals had 16 points by Tony Vitiglio, 13 from Adam Dilluvio and 10 each by Dan Sackett and Hussein Sayed.

Color Carton Blue Devils 64, Goldstein and Greenlaw Tar Heels 49. The Blue Devils won behind Miguel Gonzalez’s 19 points and 12 added by Anthony Terio. Justin Yaeger added 10 and Adam Masoud and Adam Fusfeld scored eight each. The Tar Heels got 16 points from Alex Morales and 14 from Julius Wells. Mike Granto chipped in eight and Max Reznick six.
