In the top of the sixth, Brigandi drew six walks and Anthony Zupnick doubled to power the Barristers over Biordi. Brigandi’s John Conway had the batter’s eye, picking up four walks and scoring two runs.

Pitcher Chris Paruch shut the door on the threatening Biordi offense in the bottom of the sixth. But it was Brigandi’s centerfielder, Giancarlo Santillo, who threw a strike to catcher Zupnick to catch a runner trying to score.

Mike Wiederhold went 3-for-4 with a double, Tommy Pierce went 2-for-4 and Joey Kurz made two put outs in right field for the Bell Bay Florists. For Valle Tile, it was Alon Nisim’s triple and run scored in the seventh inning that applied the pressure on the Florists.

Valle Tile 5, V.I. Pizza 3. Valle Tile was able hold off a rally by V.I. Pizza late in the game to secure the win.
