A source familiar with the case said it appeared to be a murder-suicide after the couple broke up several weeks ago.The man, an unidentified 30-year-old, was believed to have been the shooter, the source said.The woman's mother arrived at her first-floor apartment at 41-52 49th St. in Sunnyside around 7 p.m. to find her daughter, Gabriella Alcivar, and her ex-boyfriend both dead.Emergency workers responding to the call declared them dead at the scene, where police recovered a .22-caliber pistol.Neighbors said the mother and daughter, originally from Ecuador, had moved into the small apartment about six months ago.Building resident Manuel Algudo said he saw the mother several times at the El Renuevo Christian church near Roosevelt Avenue several blocks away.”I am in shock,” he said, standing outside the building in the freezing January night.Several neighbors watched nervously as the bodies of the feuding couple were removed from the apartment by workers from the medical examiner's office. The shooting is the second murder-suicide in five months in western Queens.
