Flushing House special offer

Flushing House, a retirement residence, is offering special two week stays to give people a chance to see all that they have to offer.
Built in 1974, the mission of Flushing House is “to provide a safe, affordable and enjoyable retirement experience for our residents” and “was one of the first to offer older adults independent living with supportive services on premises.”
Flushing House has housekeeping and 24-hour security. It also serves a continental breakfast, lunch and dinner daily in its dining room.
The facility also offers a wide variety of activities and entertainment for residents to enjoy. Along with having visiting entertainers, it has a choral group, exercise classes, poetry groups, arts and crafts, holiday events, sporting events and birthday parties, among other activities.
In order to give people a glimpse into what life is like at Flushing House, they are offering a two week stay that will cost $30 a night for individuals or $40 a night for couples. Candidates for the stay do have to take part in a prequalification interview to determine if the rents are in the person’s affordability range.
Flushing House is located at 38-20 Bowne Street.
