Howard Beach girl to learn legislative process

Angelica Ottomanelli-Katz (center), a resident of Howard Beach, is participating in the Senate Internship program in Albany as an intern for Senator Joseph A. Griffo of Oneida (right). Katz, who was greeted by Senator Serphin Maltese (left), is currently a second semester sophomore at Queens College, where she is working on her bachelor’s degree in Political Science and English. As an intern, Katz will learn about the legislative process and participate in a Model Senate Session by authoring and working on her own legislation with her fellow interns.
