A nine-year-old girl was hit by an SUV in Flushing on March 31.
According to police, the girl was hit by 38-year-old Kenneth Harper who fled the scene of the accident but later returned.
The girl is in stable condition at New York Hospital Queens. Harper has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident and driving without insurance.
