The Summit School located at 183-02 Union Turnpike in Flushing recently held a school wide “cupcake sale” and donated the proceeds - $320 - to the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island. While handing over the funds that they raised, students and teachers also toured the House and listened to lectures about the organization’s mission - to serve as a ‘home-away-from home’ for families who are caring for seriously ill children undergoing medical treatment in area hospitals.
