The Queens Courier and the New York Mets will be teaming up to honor high school valedictorians from the borough of Queens with a special Valedictorian Day at Shea on July 25.
The Mets are donating tickets to the valedictorians and salutatorians and their families so that they can attend that night’s game against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Five of Queens’ valedictorians will be selected to be honored on the field prior to the game, during which time they will receive proclamations. These top five will be picked at random.
