If you are feeling ill, you are sure to find a great doctor at New York Hospital Queens (NYHQ). According to a recent publication, 108 doctors at NYHQ are considered to be among the area’s top physicians.
Castle Connolly Medical Ltd., the company whose mission is to help the public find the best health care, named 108 doctors at the Flushing hospital, affiliated with the New York Presbyterian Healthcare System, as “best doctors” in the book “Castle Connolly’s Top Doctors: New York Metro Area (10th Edition, 2007).”
The physicians selected - from all different specialties from Endocrinology to Surgery to Pediatrics - represent the top 10 percent of New York metro area doctors, said Meredith Bell, Public Affairs Manager of New York Hospital Queens.
The top doctors were selected on peer-review surveys sent to thousands of medical professionals in the metro area, including doctors listed in the previous edition of the guidebook and a random selection of board-certified physicians and administrative leadership of metro area hospitals, said Bell.
