On December 12 at about 2:30 a.m. an off-duty police officer noticed a man in a car with police-style strobe lights trying to pull him over on the eastbound service road of the Long Island Expressway. Discovering that no cars were working the area, he forced the other vehicle to the side of the road at 160th Street and after a struggle, arrested Henry Bambauer, 22. Bambauer is charged with impersonating a police officer and resisting arrest.
