Maltese to unveil portrait of publisher

During the The Queens Courier and Queens Business Today’s Sixth Annual Top Women in Business Networking Awards Dinner on Thursday, March 13 at Terrace on the Park, past honoree Constance Maltese will unveil her portrait of publisher Victoria Schneps-Yunis.
Since 1989, Maltese, a portrait artist and 2004 honoree, has been working on a series featuring American women of varying backgrounds and areas of expertise. She said that because of Schneps-Yunis’ professional and charitable work, she thought she would be “an excellent choice” to include in the series, which has about 12 portraits so far.
“I think Vicki deserves many kudos and the portrait is my way of doing it,” Maltese said.
The portrait will officially be unveiled at the business event, which Maltese will also be attending. She also said that she will be offering special prices to this year’s honorees to have their portraits done.
