Van containing human hair stolen: Police

OAKLAND GARDENS — A van carrying 48 boxes of human hair worth $75,000 was stolen from an Oakland Gardens driveway Saturday, police said.

The 2002 white Ford van was sitting in a driveway on the 57th Avenue block of Cloverdale Boulevard in Oakland Gardens when it was stolen Saturday between 7 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., police said.

The van contained 48 boxes of human hair valued at $75,000, police said.
