Vote online for your school’s brightest

As The Queens Courier and the New York Mets team up to honor some of the borough’s brightest students, we are asking our readers to vote for their favorite valedictorians and salutatorians on qns.com to decide who will have a chance to go on the field before the game.
By going to the web site, readers can click on the icon for “The Best & The Brightest” and vote for the valedictorians and salutatorians whose names and photos were published in the June 26 issue of The Queens Courier.
The Mets have donated tickets to the game on Thursday, August 21 against the Atlanta Braves at 7:10 p.m. and will have a ceremony on the field before the game to honor four of the students. The four students who receive the most votes on qns.com will be the ones honored on the field.
Any votes resulting in a tie will be chosen by Queens Courier editors.
Those four winning students will also each be given a plaque of recognition from The Queens Courier, and eight tickets each for the game.
The other valedictorians and salutatorians who appeared in The Queens Courier will also receive tickets to attend the “Graduate Game,” by simply calling the Queens Courier, 1-718-224-5863, Ext 231 and ask for Graziella Zerilli.
Don’t miss your chance to vote for your favorite valedictorians and salutatorians! We encourage alumni to vote for students from their alma mater from schools throughout the borough, such as Bayside High School, Christ the King, Flushing High School, Francis Lewis High School, Frank Sinatra School of the Arts, and Richmond Hill High School, among others. Friends and family should also be sure to vote and show their support for the students.
Just log onto qns.com and click on the icon on the right hand side of the page to vote. Voting will end on Thursday, July 31.
