SOUTH JAMAICA – A 17-year-old was arrested last week on charges of stealing another teen's cell phone in South Jamaica, the New York Post reported Monday.
Joseph Roey rode a bicycle up to the 17-year-old victim at around 4 p.m. Sept. 26 near 108th Avenue and 155th Street in South Jamaica, the paper said, citing a criminal complaint.
Roey then grabbed the teen's phone and pedaled away, the paper said.
He was arrested on robbery charges Oct. 7, the Post said, citing a spokeswoman for Queens District Attorney Richard Brown.
