Anneliese Kiendl-Brugellis
Anneliese Kiendl-Brugellis had received the gift of life twice before she died on August 12, at 35-years-old. She was the recipient of two heart transplants which gave her an extra 24 years of life.
A very caring person who enjoyed working with the residents of Deepdale Gardens, she worked as a social worker for Deepdale CARES NORC, a division of the Samuel Field Y in Little Neck.
She had recently passed the exam and became Licensed Master Social Worker.
In addition to her work, Anneliese Kiendl Brugellis had a great love for animals, keeping five birds, feeding wild birds in the neighborhood and sharing a dog with her parents. She loved music, going to concerts and was a talented artist who enjoyed drawing and painting.
She is survived by her husband Anthony Brugellis and parents, Hugo and Marianne Kiendl.
