Police are looking for a number of suspects wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred on June 7.

The suspects, all male, are described as in their 20s, with slim builds.

Rash of home burglaries
Police say a rash of burglaries — not yet classified as a pattern — has been occurring in Ozone Park.
The alleged perps are committing the crimes in broad daylight, say cops, and are targeting residential homes.
Deputy Inspector Joseph G. Courtesis, Commanding Officer of the 106th Precinct, said that the suspects ring doorbells in an effort to determine whether residents are home. If the house is unoccupied, say police, the thieves either push in a window or gain access near an air conditioning unit.
Deputy Inspector Charles McEvoy, Commanding Officer of the 102nd Precinct, told The Courier that the thieves usually make off with electronics.
Courtesis said that “very rarely are there any eyewitnesses [when it comes to burglaries],”?but that he and his officers are canvassing for video surveillance.
Both Commanding Officers urge vigilence. Courtesis said that on Wednesday, September 2, four burglary arrests were made; while McEvoy said that two weeks ago, in the 67th Precinct, a suspect was arrested, and is possibly connected to a burglary that occurred in the 102 on August 8.
“We strongly believe he was responsible for a few out here,”?he said.
Meanwhile, residents who note a suspicious person(s) in the neighborhood should immediately call 9-1-1, say cops, and should also take advantage of free crime prevention surveys for their homes.
