A?man was fatally struck by a train on Christmas day.
Police responded to the Jamaica-Van Wyck subway station shortly before 7 p.m. on Friday, December 25 for a call of a man under a train. Upon their arrival, cops determined that an unidentified male, approximately 30 to 40 years old, was on the southbound “E” tracks when the train entered the station and struck him.
EMS also responded to the scene and pronounced the man dead. There is no criminality suspected at this time, and the man’s identity is pending proper family notification. An investigation is ongoing.
