New York State Governor David Paterson will not seek reelection.
Multiple media outlets are reporting that Paterson will announce that he will not for Governor in November sometime on Friday, February 26.
The announcement will come one day after a bristling New York Times story involving an alleged case of domestic violence case centered on one of Paterson’s closest aides David Johnson.
The story also raised questions about Paterson’s role in contacting the alleged victim and members of his administration have already resigned.
