Neighbors in Ozone Park have been breathing sighs of relief, after an alleged perv was arrested in late April.
According to the criminal complaint obtained from the district attorney’s office, 61-year-old William Albrecht is charged with course of sexual conduct against a child in the second degree and endangering the welfare of a child.
It is alleged that between September 1, 2009 and April 20 of this year, Albrecht touched the buttocks and penis of the victim “on multiple occasions.”
The boy was between the ages of 11 and 12 at the time of the incidents and “would push the defendant’s hand away,” according to the DA.
The victim also told police that Albrecht told him, “I want to suck your pee-pee. Come around back and we can take turns.”
Area residents are relieved.
“The 106th Precinct did a very good job,” said one, himself a former cop.
Attempts to reach Albrecht were unsuccessful.
