VIDEO: World Cup fever grips Steinway

Algerian and U.S. soccer fans flock to Steinway Street in Astoria for the World Cup matchup on June 23, 2010. Neither team was able to score throughout 90 minutes of play. Then with three minutes remaining, the United States put one in the net. Algerians said they would root for America in the rest of this year’s cup but had hope their team would be able to go all the way four years from now. Video by Christina Santucci
