GLENDALE — Police were looking for a man they said tried to rob a Bank of America branch Friday afternoon.
The incident took place at 70-11 Myrtle Ave. around 2:15 p.m., police said. The suspect, described as a white male between the ages of 25 and 35, 5 feet 8 inches tall and between 150 and 170 pounds, went into the bank and handed a teller a note demanding cash, according to the police.
He did not receive any money and he fled from the scene, police said.
The suspect was seen wearing a dark-colored “Lakers” baseball cap, a black jacket and a gray shirt, according to investigators.
