Doe Fund clean up

City Councilmember Karen Koslowitz recently welcomed The Doe Fund’s Ready, Willing & Able program to Rego Park.

Thanks to funding Koslowitz helped secure, members of the Ready, Willing & Able program will work five days helping to clean up Queens Boulevard from 63rd Drive to 64th Road and from Queens Boulevard to Wetherole Street on 63rd Drive

“I am extremely proud to bring the Doe Fund to Rego Park,” Koslowitz said. “In order to keep business districts vibrant and strong, we need to make sure that they are kept clean. The Doe Fund has made a positive difference in many neighborhoods and I look forward to the same successes for Rego Park.”

The Doe Fund is a program designed to help homeless and formerly incarcerated individuals achieve permanent self-sufficiency.
