“Scobee Grill Checks Out” (Bob Doda – November 25) follows Little Neck’s previous loss of Villa Bianca restaurant, Patrick’s Pub, Nelsons and other great dining establishments.
Sixteen years ago, I met my wife on a blind date at a booth in Scobee. We always return every year on the anniversary of our first meeting to the same booth.
Eating at the Scobee Grill was more like joining your family for a good home cooked meal. On closing night, my wife and I returned to our favorite booth for one last meal.
