Regarding your 2/17/11 editorial, I am one of the many that do not want Walmart in the five boroughs. You claim on your unofficial poll that 70 percent of Queens residents want one opened, unfortunately you fail to reveal how many people were polled. A previous article in The Courier indicated that less than 200 people were polled. That is not an overwhelming vote for Walmart.
On the same page as your editorial under Letters – Larry Penner of Great Neck is pro-Walmart; I suggest you promote a Walmart in Great Neck.
