You may even see her dressed up as “PFD Panda or PFD Popeye” at water safety events that are geared towards children.

BIGGEST CHALLENGE: “There have been many, but with each and every challenge I learned to overcome and adapt. Like the “Serenity Prayer” says: ‘God granted me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.’ Excellence is never an accident, it is the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction, skillful execution and the vision to see obstacles as opportunities. This is what has made me grow to be the person that I am.”

FAVORITE MEMORY: “Taking care of my five day old kittens and teaching them how to grow up from bottle feeding to walking. They all survived to grow up to be the sweetest, gentlest cats I have ever known.”

INSPIRATION: “My mother- she is the wind beneath my wings and she is my hero.
My mother may have given me my attitude, but life has taught me how to use it. She taught me to be strong, be loyal, be smart, be committed to the things that I enjoy doing and tell it like it is.” – Georgia Panagi
