As the Wall Street protests continue to grow and spread to other cities across the country, so do the frustrations of the American people, and with very good justification!
The unemployment rate continues at a very high 9.1 percent. Mortgage and credit card payments continue to rise, along with the prices of everything from fuel to clothes, food to health care. People are continuing to lose jobs, their homes and their health insurance.
Thousands of teachers across the country have lost their positions due to budget cuts, and as a result, education will continue to suffer, due to fewer teachers and overcrowded classrooms in all schools across the country.
President Barack Obama wants Congress to pass his $447 billion jobs bill, but the question which nobody has been able to answer is, “who is going to pay for this jobs bill?”
When it comes to the final decision, it will probably be the American people. Why should we have to incur the expense of this bill?
Those overpaid, underworked political windbags in Congress should work to come up with a resolution that will be reasonable and acceptable to all. Those clowns can’t even accomplish anything without a lot of political infighting. They should stop all of this ballyhoo, roll up their shirtsleeves and get to serious work to bring this country back to financial stability.
