Civilian, firefighter injured in East Elmhurst blaze

A firefighter suffered minor injuries at an East Elmhurst blaze Monday morning. One civilian also suffered minor burns to the head during the fire on Humphrey Street near 27th Avenue, according to fire officials. Firefighters first got the call at 9:47 a.m., and the blaze was under control by 10:25 a.m., according to a spokesman for the FDNY.
